The folio stasis corrects a problem with the Tri-Axis cover in that the iPad enters its sleeve from the center spline rather than the outer edge. This eliminates the chance that the iPad will slip out and fall. Also the Velcro closure to secure the iPad has been changed and is much more secure. On the original Tri-Axis, the iPad is held in place by a small leather strap with a Velcro closure. With less than a year of service, the Velcro on this strap no longer grips like it did and I fear that my iPad will slide out and become damaged. The Folio notepad is an A5 size which is hard to find (and expensive) here in the US. The only real problem I have with the Folio Stasis is the strap to hold the cover closed. With the notepad in place, the metal snap comes undone quite easily. I tried to contact Tuf-Luv customer service here in the US via email, but never received an acknowledgement nor a response. I purchased the Tuf-Luv Tri-Axis Stasis shortly after the iPad2 was released and enjoyed it very much. However, I wanted a place to keep a stylus and thought having a notepad would be great as well, so I asked for and received Tuf-Luv Folio Stasis for Christmas. Again, this seems to be a well-designed and well-made product. The folio stasis corrects a problem with the Tri-Axis cover in that the iPad enters its sleeve from the center spline rather than the outer edge. (Electronics)</b> </div> This battery arrived mostly charged, after installation I plugged the ipod into my pc and topped off the battery. Next day I ran it for 8 hours and it was still going (though battery meter was in red). Charged it up and had similar results the next day. For the battery alone, I've rated it 5 stars. <br/><br/>But I have to mention the installation process (which is all Apple's fault). I didn't have much luck prying the ipod apart with the tools inlcuded with the battery and ended up using a small, flat head screwdriver. What is supposed to happen is that the chrome back comes off and the black face remains screwed to the insides of the unit. For some reason, my chrome back remained 'stuck' to the ipod internals and the tabs holding the internals onto the face all broke. I proceeded to pry the chrome back from the internals and gained access to the battery. As you may have read, the battery is glued down, in my case some of the glue was on a wire too, so pulling on the battery threatened to rip this wire out. I managed to hold the wire down and get the old battery out. I then installed the new battery and put everything back together, but it no longer wants to stay together. I used a zip tie to hold it together and don't really care how it looks as I don't use it in public much. I have an iPod video that I got from my brother, not a scratch on it so I wanted to maintain the scratch free-ness of it.

Well based off of the 4 reviews (all 4 or 5 star) I decided to buy it.

It came rather quickly in the mail in a padded envelope, packaged nicely. Today I decided to put on one of the protectors, well it took me three tries and I am still not happy. There is barely any stickiness to the protector, I would say that it is as sticky as a used post-it note. It took me three tries to just one to stick and cover most of the face.
