Various spy shops on the Internet sell detectors for this type of thing. Expect to pay between $ 20 to $ 200. I’d go for the $ 20 version until your suspicions are confirmed.
You could always consider entertaining your alleged viewers… make it look like your are doing something horrific or awful as a gag! See if anyone comes banging on the door – that’s free!
